JAKARTA - Payable On Death or better known as POD will re-release the Beatles classic song written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Don't Let Me Down, this week.

This release is a form of respect for the band nu metal from San Diego, USA for the musical legacy of The Fab Four.

PO.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel said his band had long admired The Beatles since the start of their journey.

"Despite the clich, we have always admired The Beatles since the beginning of the journey of our songwriting. Melodi, hook, and their fearless experiments inspired us to make our own version of the classic song 'Don't Let Me Down', with great respect," Curiel said, citing a statement. The decision of the POD to re-release the Beatles song cannot be separated from their active momentum lately. The band, which is now fronted by Sonny Sandoval (vocals), Marcos Curiel (guitar), Traa Daniels (bass), and Zachary Christopherr (drums), has just completed their European tour as a special guest star for Godsmack.

The tour began on March 22, 2025 at Sofia Arena, Bulgaria, and ended on April 12, 2025 in Turbinenhalle, Oberhausen, Germany. Throughout the tour, POD visited major cities such as Bucharest, Budapest, London, and Brussels.
