JAKARTA - Harry Aprianto Kissowo who is better known as Harry Kiss is the father and main figure who encouraged Vidi Aldiano in his early career as a singer.

When there was a copyright problem between Vidi and two songwriters 'Nuansa Bening', Keenan Nasution and Budi Pekerti, Harry Kiss's name was mentioned again.

The reason is, Harry Kiss is a person who verbally asked Keenan for permission so that Vidi's song "Nuansa Bening" was brought back on his debut album, Pelangi Di Malam Day (2008).

Responding to the copyright polemic which has recently been in the spotlight in the Indonesian music industry, especially regarding song/music royalties, Harry admits that he is confused and difficult to understand.

"I don't understand, because it's too difficult for me," said Harry Kiss when met in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 21.

"Yes, isn't it? It was easy, how come it was difficult," he added.

He also highlighted cafe and restaurant owners who have recently become afraid to play songs and prefer to use the sound of birds and natural sounds.

"Right now, I want to use the sound of a bird, why is it so difficult?" he said. That song makes us happy, if that's the case it makes us wary.

Pusing, right? The one minister said this, the next one said this. Why are we living like this so it's uncomfortable.

According to Harry, the use of songs should not be as complicated as what is happening today. He felt that copyright issues should also be resolved in a better way and not cause fear among industry players.

"Each of the sustenance has its own way. We can't arrange it, we can't. Our sustenance will definitely reach us," said Harry.

"(Funds) are not swapped. It's impossible for me to suddenly steal a song but the sustenance reaches someone else. It's impossible," he said.
