Technical Constraints, HONNE Cancels Concert In Makassar

HONNE ensured that their performance which will be held in Makassar, Friday, August 8, was canceled. Through Instagram uploads, the British music group delivered an explanation and an apology.

James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck explained that there were technical problems that made them fail to appear. Before Makassar, they also experienced the same thing in Bandung and Medan.

Not wanting to avoid and give fans unclear reasons, HONNE explained the chronology of their show's cancellations openly.

"Makassar, we are very frustrated and saddened to announce that we are again in a situation where the necessary permits and production equipment have not been obtained to allow us to hold a show on Friday. We are out of words to express how disappointed we are," they wrote on Instagram, August 7.

"Like in Bandung and Medan, we are very excited to come and appear in Indonesian territory that we have never visited before. Makassar looks like a beautiful place and we really hope to be back one day and appear for our fans there," said HONNE further.

HONNE did not expect this incident to see Indonesia as their second home. In the OUCH World Tour series, they included six cities as destinations in order to meet directly with listeners. Unfortunately the plan did not go smoothly.

"I really hope this is the last time we have had to make an announcement like this. This week has been one of the most frustrating, worrying, and disappointing periods of our career so far, and we know that many of you buying tickets for this show must feel the same way, and for that we are truly sorry," they said.

"We want to make sure that all of you know that everything that happened this week doesn't affect our love for our fans here or touring in Indonesia. We are very happy to appear here and visit. We will come back again, we promise," concluded HONNE.

On August 10, they are scheduled to appear in Pekanbaru, which until now has no information on cancellations. However, seeing the developments, there is a possibility that the show at the end of the tour will also have the same fate.
