Beyoncé Tour Opening Concert Criticized For Showing Visual Las Vegas Sphere

JAKARTA - Beyoncé has started a series of Cowboy Carter tours at the SoFi Stadium located in Inglewood, California, USA on April 28.

However, the first show for the Cowboy Carter tour came under fire for displaying a visual Las Vegas Sphere.

Sphere owners are reportedly unhappy with what Beyonc\'e and the team are doing, thus asking that the visuals be removed for the next show.

According to a Billboard report, Sphere Entertainment Group has sent a letter to Beyoncé production company Parkwood Entertainment. They asked the singer of the TEXAS HOLD singer to stop using the footage, which they said was used without permission and misleading fans.

"Beyonc\'e which is much bigger than where Sphere's show was playing the body, lifting the venue, and standing on it, leading to a significant speculation that Beyonc\'e will end his tour with Sphere's residence," the letter reads.

They continued by saying that Sphere was never asked for permission, as well as the striking appearance and manipulation of SEG's Sphere location in the video was invalid.

With the letter, it is known that Beyoncé has quickly replaced the visual by including the Allegiant Las Vegas Stadium instead.

For information, this happened after a source reportedly informed Billboard that James Dolan, CEO of Sphere Entertainment and Madison Square Garden Entertainment Group, tried to negotiate for Beyoncé to appear on Sphere in the past, but instead he chose to appear at the Allegiant Stadium on July 25 and 26.
