Pasha Ungu Supports Ariel Cs Who Submits Material Tests For Copyright Law To The Constitutional Court

JAKARTA - Sigit Purnomo SS alias Pasha, a vocalist of Ungu who is also a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VIII, shows his support for Ariel cs who is part of the Indonesian Voice Vibration (VISION) in a request for judicial review of the Copyright Law to the Constitutional Court (MK).

Through a statement uploaded to the official Instagram account, Pasha commented on the preliminary hearing that was held on Thursday, April 24 last week. He hopes that all parties respect VISI's efforts to ask the Constitutional Court for legal clarity.

"Whatever our brother, Ariel cs in the Constitutional Court is fighting for is a form of effort to provide legal views on the law or articles that are deemed necessary to be reviewed," Pasha said, citing his statement, Tuesday, April 29.

"About less and more, it's called a process. For friends who disagree, sit quietly, observe the process and take positions in the ranks of their respective struggles," he continued.

The Ungu vocalist believes that what happened in the Constitutional Court is a good effort, as well as showing that musicians are a community that upholds intellectuality.

"In the end, God willing, what we strive for is for the good of all parties, learning to respect and respect the thoughts of others without having to 'polize on the truth'," he said. Prove to the public that art people are also an intellectual social community.

Furthermore, Pasha with a louder diction stated that what Ariel cs was doing was a constitutional step.

"No citizen has the right to claim the 'most constitutional'. Ariel et al's steps are 'very constitutional'," he said.

He said that every Indonesian is part of the constitution in this country, where the state guarantees and provides protection if there are citizens whose rights are disturbed.
