Kalimantan Alfandy Presents Contemplative Works On My Full Album Human

JAKARTA - After releasing several singles and extended play (EP) in the last three years, Total Alfandy completed his musical journey by launching his full album titled Aku Manusia.

The album is presented as a contemplative work depicting the deepest aspects of fatigue, injury, and the search for meaning as a human being.

"All the songs on this album tell the story of humans. And why is the artwork just a picture of the feet, it's to describe that we are all human beings, we need to thank ourselves, need me time, we need to correct ourselves," said How come when met in a hearing session on a new album at Pejaten, South Jakarta, Friday, April 25.

Released under the label Homeghrown, the album is said to be an important milestone in the musical journey ofiplin, which tries to work with the honesty of the lyrics and a soulful musical approach.

The 35-year-old singer said that the release of the album occurred through a long process that was not easy enough. Some people had come to help and leave, until finally their closest friends gave their full support.

"I'm actually not confident (of myself) to release an album, but because of the idea my friends finally made this album," he said.

Fitri Arifin is the key to many works that she wrote for her first full album. Not only acting as an executive producer, his wife became the closest person to him to accompany him during the writing of the song until it was launched.

"From several songs on this album, I discussed with my wife, there was even a song that had her voice," he said. Maybe this album will never exist if there is no my wife.

Meanwhile, the production process for this album involves several names that have been poor in the Indonesian music industry as musicians and producers, such as Didit Saad, Nuwi Fourtwnty, Ecky Banbaroesa, and Canga Anton.

The formation involved in the recording studio is no less special. Apart from being vocalized, Nuwi Fourtwnty and Didit Saad were also present on guitar, Prima Fourtwnty on drums, and Ryan Fourtwnty on bass. In addition, Aip DPO also performed for an additional guitar that gives a distinctive color to several tracks.

The main single Aku Manusia is the center point for this album's message an honest screams of mental fatigue, life pressure, and hope that humans can understand each other without judging.
