Billie Eilish Had Hated The Name Of His Parents' Giving

JAKARTA - Billie Eilish has a unique story with the name he wears as an artist for now. The 23-year-old singer even admitted that there was an unpleasant time due to the problem of his name.

Meanwhile, Eilish was born with her full name Billie Eilish Pirate Total O'Connell of her parents who work as an actor, Patrick O'Connell and Allah.

Eilish admitted that there was a time when she was annoyed with the name her parents gave her. He felt his first name was more appropriate for boys.

"I really hated my name when I was a kid. 'I thought Billie was the name of a boy.' That's what I've always heard every day of my life,' Eilish said during an interview for British Vogue, quoted by Billboard, Wednesday, April 16.

The 'BIRDS OF A FEELHER' singer said that he was very angry, because he hoped to have a more feminine name.

"I remember that time I was so angry, and all I wanted was a feminine name, like Violet or Lavender, kind of, you know, a very beautiful name," Eilish said.

"And it's really funny, because now there's no other name in the universe that can be my name other than Billie. I really, really, really love my name. It's really the only possible choice for who I am," he added.

Furthermore, Eilish said that she was named after her grandfather, and she felt more confident after realizing that an actress at one of her favorite shows had the same name as her.
