JAKARTA - The punk Torpedoest Unit introduced nine songs through the latest album with the title 'Waras Source'. This is the fifth album of their two decades of travel.

Through this album, the personnel want to tell about a journey to their ownselves as well as social struggles in the life of the capital world which they feel is not doing well.

Personal efforts to fight illusions, the courage to analyze various phenomena, reading to acceptance of changes and existing conditions, cooperation, and the journey to find true love to the resistance in them become the main topics they present in this album.

In another understanding, 'Waras Source' is a combination of critical anthropology logic and humanity with a mixture of anger, comedy, love, rebellion, and togetherness.

Reza as the songwriter and producer of this album has made several new materials for one year, which was then processed with Iman Khalil (background guitar/vocals), Andy Satrio (base/background vocals), and Shaku Hachi who filled the drums and was later replaced by Rafa Suharlim as a fixed drummer.

Through a workshop that was jointly undertaken, additional and joint processing for three months, they began recording it. Several names helped, ranging from Salman as a backing vocal and Tebe as a record interpreter, to Indra Qadarsih who helped in completing the mastering.
