JAKARTA - The Wijaya80 music group continued their journey by releasing a mini album titled Perjumpaan. Still with the theme retro music in the 80s, this trio from Jakarta presents a number of interesting stories and points of view.

The EP of the Meeting reflects on the universal emotional journey of falling in love, longing, heartbreak, and ambition of the world. In it there are a total of six songs, namely Aku, Last Time, Old Player, 'Don't Come Again, and Adverse Enjoyment.

The track 'Still There You', is at the peak of Wijaya80's expression of the melody about romance and hope in a romantic relationship, which is performed through the nuances of music full of nostalgia retro-pop. The trio consisting of Erikson Jayanto, Ardhito Pramono and Hezky Joe chose the track Still Exists You as the main track.

We name this album Meeting because all stories in life, both joy and sorrow, always start with an encounter. This album is also a moment of encounter for the three of us as Wijaya80 and our introduction to listeners," said Erikson Jayanto in a written broadcast received by VOI, February 28.

Listeners will be invited along the timeline for their typical 80s atmosphere through romantic and melancholic arrangements, but remain modern with a touch of retro and vocal instrument exploration typical of Wijaya80 personnel. The encounter was the answer to the longing of senior listeners for 80-era music, as well as offering a fresh new color for the younger generation.

The album Meeting will be available on all digital music streaming platforms. To celebrate the release of this album, Wijaya80 also held a showcase on Valentine's Day.

The showcase is a special moment to experience firsthand the emotional journey that is poured into the encounter. Because the encounter is not the end, but the beginning of the thousands of stories that will come.
