Jaz Gives Exploration Space For Third Album Release, Love Message

JAKARTA - Jaz is ready to release his third album Pesan Cinta at the end of the new year. He deliberately gave a wider space for exploration in his work this time.

In it there are nine tracks, five of which have been released as singles, such as 'Move On Tutorial', One Thousand Years', and 'Can Merindu'. While the other four are new songs that raise various stories and perspectives.

Jaz revealed the story behind the selection of the title of his new album. Apparently there was a change in title before falling into the current choice.

"This album will initially be titled Messenger, but after discussing it with the label, it was finally decided to use the title Message of Love," said Jaz in a press release received by VOI, February 27.

The singer who started the success of the single From Mata admitted that she did not experience any significant problems in making her album this time. With careful preparation, he completed it as desired smoothly.

Jaz is working with familiar names behind the scenes. The producers involved in this album are Belanegara Abe, Edia J, Abraham Edo, Aldi Nada Permana, SEEK, Adrian Rahmat Purwanto, Ari Renaldi, SOIN, and Gerry Ange. Meanwhile, for vocal directors, Jaz was assisted by Irvnat, Bowo Soulmate, and Barsena Bestandhi.

With his third collection of works, Jaz felt that there were several new things that he presented. Exploration from song arrangement to collaboration includes a differentiator from the previous album.

For me personally, this album feels like a space to explore new things. Usually, I tend to play in the pop genre, but in Message of Love, there are songs with ballad genres and also collaborate with other musicians," he said.

"Hopefully this exploration can be accepted by music lovers who have always been loyal to listen to Jaz from the first single until now. Even though I tried something new, my characteristics in this album will certainly not be lost so that my fans can still find the old Jaz character here. .

There is a mission in itself that Jaz wants to do on this album, which is to convey feelings that are not revealed through existing songs.

"Through the nine tracks that have been chosen, I want to convey a message of love to those who have never been conveyed. In this album, there are many messages that people who are longing or falling in love can feel. Maybe, my listeners have something that has not been conveyed to their loved ones, be it to their spouses, family, or people who are secretly liked," said the singer from Brunei Darussalam.

"Through this album, I hope that the messages that have not been spoken will be captured by the intended person and in the end make the implied message accepted. Hopefully those who listen will also give a positive response to the Message of Love such as an extraordinary response to the previous albums and single-singles," he concluded.
