JAKARTA - The synth-pop trio from Jakarta, Weird Genius is back to introduce the latest single entitled 'Desire'. This song is a continuation of the musical journey of Reza Oktovian, Eka Gustiwana, and Roy Leonard.

Weird Genius describes 'Desire' as the result of contemplation over the past year. They try to shift the color of the music a little, but still maintain the pop element in writing the song,

"Because basically, since the beginning Weird Genius was formed, it has never separated the hype dancefloor and pop easy-listening vibe in our song," said Reza Oktovian alias Reza Arap in his statement, Monday, February 17.

Meanwhile, the latest single lyrics tell the story of a person's deep obsession, which is a true story of one of Weird Genius's personnel.

Similar to previous songs, Weird Genius did not want to tell more details about his work. They want the interpretation to be released to listeners.
