JAKARTA - After organizing a farewell tour throughout 2023-2024, SUM 41 officially ended through the last show to be held in Toronto, Canada on January 30.

Deryck Whibyley (vocals), Dave "Brownsound" Baksh (guitar), Tom Thacker (guitar), Jason "Cane" McCaslin (bass), and Frank Zummo (drums) appeared in front of fans at Scotiabank Arena, performing their best songs.

In the show, SUM 41 performed 29 songs, which are the best works they have produced so far, such as Fat Lip, Still Waiting, Wating on a Twist of Fate, and much more.

Not only that, but Whibyy cs also performed classic metal songs, namely 'Raining Blood' from Slayer and Metallica's 'Master Of Puppets'.

Through an Instagram upload, Whibyy tried to reflect on how he traveled with SUM 41 for 27 years.

"A great life. A great journey. A wild time. From being a member of a successful high school band, to conquering the world and achieving everything I've ever dreamed of. It's heaven, hell, and everything in between, but I won't change that bit," wrote the vocalist.

"The good things in my life are so great that sometimes they feel inappropriate. And the bad times, well, most of them have been well documented. However, so far I have learned a few things on this journey. Good things don't feel good without bad times. And without going through bad times, I wouldn't be the person I'm proud of right now. Difficult times make life interesting, "he continued.

The 44-year-old musician also welcomed the future, although he did not know what happened.

I am very excited for change and growth and can't wait to see where the next direction of life goes. At this point in my life, I'm just worried about what is in my control and letting life go as it should be," he said.

"I don't know what will happen to me in the next chapter, and honestly I haven't thought about it. What I can't be happier with this storyline so far. The only thing that's on my side right now is giving everything I care about for the city I love for the last concert."
