JAKARTA - Genta Radewa alias Genta Garby wants to continue to show its existence in the Indonesian music industry. Starting his journey in 2025, the vocalist of the band Garby launched a new single entitled Sendung Kehiduli.

This song is a series of other singles for solo careers that have been released previously, such as He Loves', 'Tempanizes Me', and Until the End of the Age.

The sound of life raises the theme of longing, whose music is worked on according to its characteristics, by trying to represent Genta's feelings that have experienced deep longing.

"This song tells the story of a time when we feel a deep longing for someone we love, who is separated from distance and time due to circumstances," Genta said in his statement, Monday, January 20.

"There is a prayer and hope from the song, there is a request to the Most Merciful to unite his love. In essence, we hope that God will bring us together and unite us from separation," he continued.

Genta felt that the process of creating this song was very close to her life story. He saw that his latest work really represented the journey of his life so far.

Meanwhile, the production process involved guitarist Kohar Kahler, who helped Genta work on musical arrangements while filling in guitar, piano, and bass.

The process of creating this song occurred at night when I really felt a deep longing and was accompanied by tears. In such circumstances, there was an inspiration for the tone and lyrics of the song, "said Genta.

"I did the recording process at Studio Musik 58 in December 2019, accompanied by Kohar Kahler who played guitar, piano and bass, and Roma Pitor on drums, plus my older brother Sisca Insani," he added.

Meanwhile, the release of Sendung Kehiduli collaborated with the label Cadazz Pustaka Musik. For Genta, the choice of collaborating with Fransiscus Eko from Cadaaz Pustaka Music became a reunion event, considering the friendship that has been built since the 1990s.

"A good opportunity to collaborate with old friends, who have certainly been in the Indonesian music industry for a long time. Hopefully this collaboration will make a synergy that supports each other, so that we can be successful and a blessing together," he concluded.
