JAKARTA - The National Collective Management Institute (LMKN) has announced that the collection of royalties carried out by all Collective Management Institutions (LMK) in 2024 will reach IDR 77,153,709,254.
This record is the largest since the establishment of LMKN and LMK, which is tasked with collecting and distributing music royalties in Indonesia.
In the Performance Coordination and Evaluation Meeting conducted by LMKN and all LMK in Kuningan, South Jakarta on Thursday, January 16 yesterday, it was agreed that the royalties collection target in 2025 was much larger than before, namely Rp126,164,103,841.
"Here, we evaluate the achievements of 2024 and discuss strategic steps in the future," said LMKN Chairman Dharma Oratmangun, in a press conference after the Coordination and Performance Evaluation Meeting.
This target is much higher than in 2024, which is also LMKN's highest achievement. This figure has experienced a significant increase compared to previous years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. So, this is the highest achievement in LMKN's journey," he continued.
According to Dharma, this target is not an impossible number to achieve. The reason is, a careful calculation has been carried out to determine it.

There will be various noveltys that will be carried out in the collection of royalties, one of which is considered essential is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology or artificial intelligence.
"We will use AI in governance to improve the performance and management of LMKN and LMK," concluded Dharma.
