Success In The Music Industry, The Indies Still Feels Minder

JAKARTA - Baskara Putra, known for his solo project, Indies, has become a big name in the Indonesian music industry today.

Many big stages have been passed, even recently the Indies brought home two trophies at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Awards. He won in the category of Best Alternative Solo Artist and Best Alternative Album.

Not only that, Baskara Putra also won in the category Duo/Group/Best Rock Collaboration with.Feast.

Behind all the achievements in the music industry, Baskara admits that she is still not confident. He is often inferior, even today.

"Minder every day. Until today it is still inferior," said Baskara Putra, after the 27th AMI Awards peak night event at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 4.

He doesn't see a inferior feeling as something to be afraid of. For him, that feeling is very human.

"It's just normal, natural, and human. Just get used to it," he said.

Baskara also shared her experience in overcoming feelings of inferiority. He is well aware that his many works so far are not perfect. But he prefers to improve rather than sink into insecurity.

"If you look at something I did a year ago, two years ago, it turned out that I was once ugly, I was lacking, in any form. I recorded it and I learned it, so that it could be even better,"
