JAKARTA - Female soloist Raisa promises something to her fans, YourRaisa. According to her, the pandemic forced many parties to do activities from home, making her more productive in her work.
Furthermore, Raisa revealed to have recorded a number of songs. She will release her latest album in the middle of this year.
"It won't be long for the album to be released. But just consider it in the middle of this year, I'm going to drop something," Raisa said, as reported from Antara, Monday, April 12.
"Often I used to record, and the release still very long because there are gigs, big shows, and others. And now that I'm recording and then instantly releasing, it feels relieved. I'm still in the same state of mind. I want to release an album this year because YourRaisa must be impatient anymore," said Raisa.
"This situation is like a blessing in disguise, this is the year where we have a lot of time and recharge, and if I prefer professional life, I may not be inspired again. After recharge, there's going to be a lot of inspiration, and I've recorded 7-8 songs. There will probably be 10-12 songs on this album," she added.
The wife of Hamish Daud revealed that she has been struggling with the making of this album since last year. She claimed to also explore more of the other side of herself and her musicality.
"The album process has started from last year, because there is no gig and others. But, it's a new experience because we usually run out of tours, there's time, just writing and recording," Raisa said.
"Now it feels like I have an office job. Every day comes to the song and it challenges our creative mind. For me, it's a really exciting experience. It feels good to be in a creative environment day and out," she continued.
Meanwhile, Raisa has just released a single titled Kutukan (Cinta Pertama) which features a fresh and playful image.
"This song is fresh and I think if it goes to the radio it maybe enrich, instead of another ballad from Raisa, this song can be fresher, right, and also to prepare my album later as the opening," she concluded.
