Rara Sekar Flies From New Zealand To Jakarta To Appear At The Isyana Sarasvati Concert

Rara Sekar was present for his younger brother, Isyana Sarasvati, who held a concert celebrating a decade of work with the title Lost in Harmony, which was held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday, November 16 night.

The presence of the former Banda Neira personnel was a surprise for the audience who attended, because he was not announced as a collaborator musician to be presented by Isyana.

Rara Sekar appeared on stage after the duet of Isyana and her husband, Rayhan, who appeared intimate in front of thousands of spectators.

Rara and Isyana stand side by side facing the keyboard. They performed Luruh, their duet song which became the soundtrack for the film Milli & Mamet at the end of 2018.

The appearance of the two caused hysterical screams from the audience. Rara and Isyana sounded complementary to the different singing styles.

"Give a hand to my beloved brother, Rara Sekar Larasati," said Isyana after completing the song.

The 31-year-old singer expressed her gratitude for her sister who wanted to fly far to Jakarta in the midst of her busy schedule.

"So I want to thank you too because Rara tonight sacrificed for me, to fly from New Zealand (New Zealand) here, even though he is very busy," said Isyana.

"Thank you to Isyana for being a tour and travel for me," said Rara, greeted by laughter from the audience.

Despite living far apart in recent years, it can be seen how Rara and her sister support each other. The two of them threw jokes that were greeted with laughter from each other.

For information, Rara Sekar debuted on the national music scene two years earlier than Isyana. He formed a duo with Ananda Badudu named Banda Neira. This group produces two studio albums and one mini album.

At the end of 2016, Rara Sekar decided to end his journey with Banda Neira. He tried to continue his music career as a soloist and several times collaborated with other singers.

Since leaving Banda Neira, Rara's musical activities have greatly decreased. She decided to go and settle in New Zealand with her husband.

The music activity is currently run under the name alias Hara. This solo music project has produced two mini albums, namely 'Konduri' (2021) and Developed Screen (2023)
