Armand Maulana Dedicates EP Sarwa Renjana To Princess Semata Wayang

JAKARTA - Armand Maulana extended his solo discography through an extended play (EP) entitled Sarwa Renjana. The mini album, which was released on November 1, contains five new songs.

The'Renjana Society' itself can be interpreted as the 'greatness of love'. This album is intended by Armand for his only daughter, Naja Dewi Maulana, who studied higher in England four years ago.

"Initially this was an obstacle for a father who was left far away by a child who really wanted to study. Yes, I as a father can't possibly forbid it," said Armand Maulana during a press conference at Trinity Optima Production's office in Melawai, South Jakarta, Tuesday, November 5.

"Finally, that confusion is to create a work, yes, this Sarwa Renjana album," he continued.

Because this album is directed by the child, Armand is asked to be directly involved in all songwriting. This is the difference between other works that are done with Trinity.

"Here I ask Armand to join in writing the song. Because it will be different to sing it, when he also writes," said Simhala Avadana, Artist and Repertoire (A&R) Trinity Optima Production.

"Even though at the beginning of the collaboration with Trinity, I asked to say that I just wanted to sing, but here I ended up writing too," said Armand.

Adapu, lima lagu yang dihadirkan dalam EP ini adalah 'Don't Let Go', 'Aku Tempatmu Pulang', Semanman Itu, Senarai Cinta, dan Surga yang menjadi focus track.

The song Serga is a reminder to live a healthy life so that you can live a long life, protect loved ones longer. This song also comes through a music video directed by Shadtoto Prasetio by bringing back the visual nuances of the 1990s, by choosing to wear a flanel shirt, which is now back to popularity.
