Mariah Carey Reveals Best Album In Her Career

JAKARTA - Mariah Carey has shown herself to be one of the best divas for more than three decades, with a total of 15 studio albums and many hit songs standard for female soloists afterward.

While a guest of the Las Culturalistas podcast hosted by Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang for the latest episode, the 55-year-old diva revealed the best studio album in his view.

Mariah said the sixth studio album, 'Butterfly', was her best album, with such a special meaning.

"This album really has a very special meaning for me. I think this album may be my best album," said Mariah Carey.

The album 'Butterfly' itself contains a single My All', one of which is full of high vocal engineering, which is the subject of vocal learning in many music schools.

Responding to Mariah's answer, Rogers tried to respond by asking why 'Butterfly' was not awarded.

"In my opinion, this album didn't get any awards," said Mariah with her joke.

I love the album. There are certain feelings when you listen to it. This album has a lot of diversity. You go from Breakdown to Butterfly to My All, "he continued.

Meanwhile, the 'Butterfly' was released in September 1997, featuring singles honey, Breakdown, The Roof, and other songs. The album debuted on the No.1 Billboard 200 chart and was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

In 1998, the best female R&B vocal appearance and 'Butterfly' were nominated for the best female pop vocals appearance in the Grammys. However, none of the trophies that Mariah Carey managed to bring home.
