Shakira Jasmine Teenages Korean Version Of Project Pop Song, Oneureul Gieokhaja

JAKARTA - Shakira Jasmine's admiration with Korean songs and dramas she puts into the form of a work. She has just released the popular song "Remember Today" which was made by the Korean version with the title Oneureul Giaekhaja.

This song officially became the original soundtrack (OST) for a film directed by Ernest Prakasa entitled 'Love Not As Beautiful As Korean Dramas' which will soon be shown in theaters.

One of Project Pop's hits is specially rearranged in Korean, adapted to the film theme. There is a touch that feels modern, but still retains the emotional essence of the original version that tells about friendship.

"Coinciding with the release of Ernest's sis's film entitled Cinta Tak As Beautiful as Korean dramas, it's really nice that I was recommended to sing this song in the Korean version. So I want to take this opportunity," Shakira said in an official broadcast received by VOI.

Interpreting Indonesian-language lyrics into Korean is one of its own challenges. In this process, Shakira is assisted by Miyoung Jang, an interpreter who also adapted previously Shakira's songs such as Everything About Us and Trik Ulur in the Korean version.

"I just sang it after it was translated. The process was very smooth, and I was satisfied with the results."

Even though there is a difference in language, Shakira emphasized that the emotions and messages conveyed in the Korean version are still the same as the original version. What's different is only the language, but packaged with fresher music," he said.

"Hopefully they will attract Korean fans to hear the song Remember Today and always support all of my works," he concluded.
