Melly Goeslaw Invites Mahalini To Collaborate On The Everlasting Harmony Stage

JAKARTA - Mahalini Raharja became one of the guest performers at the concert The Greatest Melly Goeslaw - Everlasting Harmony which was held at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Jakarta on Sunday, September 29 evening.

Mahalini appeared elegantly wearing a pink costume. The 24-year-old singer opened her appearance with one of the songs written by Melly Goeslaw, 'Until Closing Your Eyes'.

Rizky Febian's wife is known to have re-released by presenting a new version of the hit song popularized by Acha Septriasa, which is one of the soundtracks for the film Heart.

"It's really nice to be here tonight, tonight, to meet all of you at this amazing Melly Tea concert," said Mahalini.

"I want to thank Teh Melly for giving me the opportunity to meet you here," he continued.

It didn't stop there, Mahalini also had the opportunity to have a duet with Melly Goeslaw. They performed "I'm Sorry Goodbye", a song that Kris Dayanti first performed in 2007.

After this appearance, Melly and Mahalini had a chance to talk on stage. Melly called Mahalini the most loved young female singer at this time.

"Give your hand to Mahalini. He's a singer who is currently loved," said Melly.

The 50-year-old singer also praised Mahalini not only as a singer, but also as a songwriter.

Melly even expressed her intention to write a song with Mahalini.

"I'm a composer, Mahalini is a composer, what if we compose a song? Do you want it or not?" said Melly.

Furthermore, Melly expressed her hopes for Mahalini. "Because yes, what I know, there used to be Eyang Titiek Puspa and her husband, then there was Melly Goeslaw with Anto Hoed. Hopefully then there will be Mahalini with Rizky Febian."

Mahalini looks happy with the hope and also the invitation from her senior. Before leaving the stage, he questioned Melly Goeslaw's seriousness in returning to collaboration.

'Teh, are we really (writing songs together?? Make it together?' asked Mahalini, who was welcomed by Melly Goeslaw.

The concert, which was held by ALOKA, features 30 songs written by Melly Goeslaw throughout her music career.

Apart from Mahalini, other guest performers who were also presented were Ariel NOAH, Rossa, Marcello Tahitoe, Putri Ariani, Dinda Ghania, and Alexandra Teh.
