JAKARTA - Ebiet G. Ade became one of the performers at the third day of the 2024 Party of Youth and Sports which took place at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Sunday, September 22.

After maghrib, the 70-year-old musician boarded the Sat Set Stage which is located across the main stage.

The presence of the senior musician is eagerly awaited by thousands of young viewers who fill the front of the Sat Set Stage. Ebiet appeared alone on stage, holding an acoustic guitar and accompanied by playback music.

Some of the best songs such as Camelia and Kupu-Kupu Kertas are performed by Ebiet, with the audiences who occasionally sing.

"Sorry, yes, my songs are mostly sad songs," said Ebiet.

Ebiet's songs and simple performances did not necessarily make the audience move out of place. They continued to take part in the show calmly.

Realizing that most of the audience is young people, Ebiet also expressed his gratitude. A little joking, he left a message to the parents of the audience.

"I want to leave greetings to my parents. Maybe many parents want to come here, but because of the Partypora it's very crowded, so they can't," said Ebiet.

"Yes, I want to leave greetings to them. Maybe some of them also entrusted songs to you," he continued.

At the end of his appearance, Ebiet performed the song 'Berita Kepada Kawan'. The audience, who was still loyal to the stage, sang the song from start to finish.

"It's amazing you guys. Thank you," said Ebiet closing his appearance.
