Bring A New Trio, Sting Prepares North American Mobile Tour

JAKARTA - Musician and singer, Sting is ready to return with a trio recently formed. He will stop by several cities on a North American tour with his team.

Those involved were guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. They present Sting's repertoire and quite a number of songs from the The Police era. Of the 20 songs, half are catalogs taken from the album The Police.

The tour began in two days of performance, namely Tuesday and Wednesday, September 17 and 18 at Fillmore Detroit. The concert is also a moment for Sting to introduce his trio for the first time.

After Detroit, Sting Trio will visit Toronto (20-21 September), Philadelphia (30 September-1 October), continuing to Chicago (28-29 October), San Francisco (6-7 November) and Los Angeles (12-13 November).

Special for Brooklyn, Sting held the day of the show on October 7, 9 and 10.

Not only concerts, Sting also made a new work with his trio. He has just released the single 'I Write Your Name (Upon My Heart)' which is indeed conceptually simpler.

"I want to make a new work together with a simple chord, and that song finally came out," said Sting as quoted by UCR, September 18.
