GAC Restores Nuance Pop Ballad And R&B Through Single Titled HIGHHER

JAKARTA - Trio Gamaliel, Audrey, and Cantika who are members of GAC greet their listeners again through the latest single with the title 'HIGHER'. This song will be the first release in 2024.

The 'HIGHER' is also a sign of GAC consistency. This song is the fourth single after the vacuum period they have gone through from 2018 to 2023.

'HIGHER' is an emotional song that tells the story of giving up someone dear even though the love they have is still very big.

This song comes as a reflection of the meaning of more mature love, where love does not always mean having, but sometimes it also means releasing for a better purpose for both parties.

This topic of love is a new touch raised by GAC in their work. Cantika also described the severity of the feeling behind this song.

This song tells the story of a very strong love, where at first we thought he was the one who would accompany us forever. They even feel suitable so they believe they can achieve their dreams together as lovers," said Cantika in her statement, Friday, September 13.

"But after all these years, it turns out that all their efforts together must fail because of one thing and another. But we know this pain will not allow us to support each other in achieving our dreams individually," he continued.

"We really miss the R&B ballad songs at that time, which are rarely heard now. Finally, the three of us agreed to invite Aldi Nada Permana to produce and help realize our dream song," said Gamaliel.

In writing the lyrics, GAC is again collaborating with ROF, their best friend, to perfect the message they want to convey.

Not only in terms of the story, "HIGHER" also tries to highlight harmony and melody. Aldi Nada Permana comes as a producer, with Ano Stevano's support in the mixing and mastering process.
