Achieve The VMAs Cup, Katy Perry Reminds Young Artists To Stay Honest In Work

JAKARTA - Two decades more work, Katy Perry is still in a brilliant career position. He just won the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs event which was held on September 11.

The award confirmed itself as one of the greatest pop artists in the early millennial era. Katy expressed his pride in getting the special category award this year.

In his winning speech, the 39-year-old singer delivered an important message. One of the things he said was advice for young musicians.

"I'm excited when I see today's music and I see all the amazing young artists who are dealing with self-confidence, dare to act, vulnerability, and authenticity. I just want to say with all my heart, do whatever it takes to stay loyal to yourself and be loyal to your art," Perry said when accepting Moon Man.

"Turn off social media. Take care of your mental health. Stop for a moment. Step on the grass. And do what you're going to do. Just like I was born to do this," he added.

At VMAs this year, Katy Perry performed a series of hits in a medley manner, such as the songs Dark Horse, Firework and ET. He also leaked his new song with Douchii which will be released on September 13.
