JAKARTA - Dream Theater Announces North America's Tur for the 40th anniversary. The plan is for the tour to start in 2025.
This will be the first tour for them in the United States and Canada since Mike Portnoy's return to the band. The last time they did it was in 2010.
Last year they Dream Theater held a tour with drummer Mike Mangini, including a stopover to Indonesia. This tour will feel different from Mike, the player who is often considered to have his own soul behind the drums.
"You guys have been patient to ask and wait, and now the wait is over! We are proud to announce the 2025 North American tour," Mike Portnoy said in an Instagram post, September 10.
The North American tour itself is planned to be held starting February next year. There will be at least 30 cities visited by the progressive metal dedengkot in a span of several months.
