Ahmad Dhani Prepares Dewa 19 Collaboration With Lovato

JAKARTA - Ahmad Dhani stated that Dewa 19 of the All Star featuring has its own intellectual property (IP). After last year's first successful event and the announcement of the second edition at the beginning of next year, the 52-year-old musician confirmed that this event will be present every year.

Although the second edition of the Dewa 19 All Star featuring concert was announced, said Dhani, his party has moved to look for foreign musicians to be displayed for 2026.

From several names called Dhani, big names such as Lenny Kravitz, Demi Lovato, to Adam Lambert appeared.

"Later I want to meet them, I don't know which one first, just wait," said Ahmad Dhani during a press conference in Sudirman, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, September 10.

Seeing the profiles of the musicians involved in Dewa 19 featuring All Star so far, Demi Lovato's name is indeed different from the others. Although not known as a rock singer, Dhani admitted that he liked the vocal character of the singer 'Heart Attack'.

"I like it. I like Demi Lovato," said Dhani.

In fact, Mulan Jameela's husband has intended to talk further to bring Demi Lovato to the country.

"This October we want to go to America, (prepare) for concerts in 2026," he said.

For information, the second edition of the Dewa 19 Faturing All Star concert will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta on January 18, 2025.

The foreign musicians who will collaborate with Dewa 19 are Eric Martin and Billy Sheehan from Mr. Big, Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme, John Waite from Bad English, Derek Sherinian, Dino Jelusick, and Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal.

In the upcoming concert, Dewa 19 will also bring three singers who have been their vocalists, namely Ari Lasso, Virzha, and Ello.

The concert with a'stadium' scale this time is expected not only to be a continuation of previous success, but also an evolution from Ahmad Dhani's vision to present world-class music performances in Indonesia.

By cooperating with rock musicians from various parts of the world, this concert is seen as making an extraordinary history from Indonesian musicians who can provide an extraordinary and unforgettable music concert experience for rock music fans in Indonesia.

The sale of tickets for the Dewa 19-cataturing All Star 2.0 concert will begin on September 30. Further details regarding ticket purchases will be informed in the near future.
