After 22 Years, Maliq & D'Essentials Holds Perdana Can Machines Fall In Love Concert Tour?

JAKARTA - It has been 22 years since Maliq & D'Essentials has a career in the music industry with all its dynamics. Instead of declining, at the current age they have a much wider number of listeners.

Proud and enthusiastic, tours in these two countries are an opportunity to bring new albums to several cities.

"This is Maliq's first tour for 22 years working. Previously, we had often visited various regions, but not in the context of album tours," said Maliq & D'Essentials drummer Widi Puradiredja as quoted by ANTARA, August 29.

Therefore, Widi and his colleagues are ready to present different concert experiences from their previous music performances. Starting from longer concert durations with more than 20 song lists, special arrangements, to interesting stage stages.

"What is certain is that this concept has never been displayed in cities that we are used to visiting," said Widi.

Interestingly, Maliq & D'Essentials will also release limited edition merchandise specifically for CMFIL tours with different themes in each city. Later, CMFIL tour merchandise can also be ordered by fans with a preorder system through the official Maliq & D'Essentials online store.

"We are open online, but the system is PO (pre ordered) and we will prioritize friends who come to the concert area first," said a representative from the promoter.

The music group, which was founded on May 15, 2002, will play the set of CMFIL albums as well as dozens of songs from its old albums in a number of cities in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Starting from Makassar (South Sulawesi) on October 18, Surabaya (East Java) on October 25, Bali on October 29, Yogyakarta on November 29, Bandung (West Java) on December 1, and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) on December 29.

"These cities were chosen based on the highest number of streams, and the six cities were selected," said Warner Music Indonesia Country Managing Director Triari Senawirawan.

For the collaboration of artists or opening performers on the CMFIL album tour, Maliq & D'Essentials has not planned to do so. So far, the group will focus on maximizing their stage action as a whole Maliq & D'Escentials.

"Hopefully this (tur) will run smoothly, we are all healthy and according to the expectations we want," concluded Indah.
