Deryck Whibyley Denies Rumors Of Joining Linkin Park Or Oasis

JAKARTA - Sum 41 vocalist Deryck Whibyley denied rumors that he would join as a vocalist for other bands.

Previously, the singer who is familiarly called Bizzy D was linked to Linkin Park who uploaded a countdown time on Instagram.

Then, netizens speculated that Linkin Park's upload was related to the upload of Instagram SUM 41 which said Daryck had something to announce.

Not only that, but Whibyy's name is also associated with Oasis, who recently announced a reunion and tour concert next year.

"I feel the need to get rid of some rumors that are circulating. It has come to my attention that many people think I will join a grouping band," wrote Deryck Whibyy via Instagram uploads, Wednesday, August 28.

"But I want to say, regardless of common belief, I will not join Oasis... or Linkin Park. Or any other band," he said.

The 44-year-old singer said the announcement was related to her tour and new books.

"I have my own tur and book announcements that I will move to this weekend, before our tour in the United States," he said.

However, Whibyy still expressed his support for Linkin Park da Oasis. He wishes both bands the best.

"I can't wait to see whatever these two amazing bands do in the future," said Deryck Whibyley.
