Ivanka Slank Praises Synchronize Fest For Giving Stages For Potlot Children

Slank Bassist Ivanka enthusiastically welcomed the Synchronize Fest 2024 which will be held for three days at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta from 4 to 6 October.

The reason is, Synchronize prepares a special stage for Ivanka cs through Potlot Jam, which is a group of Indonesian musicians who started their music career from Jalan Potlot in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

Potlot Jam itu ada Slank, ada Kidnap Katrina, ada Anda Perdana, ada Ipang Lazuardi, ada Oppie & BOP, ada Otto Jam yang itu bandnya Imanez. Jadi, satu komunitas kita akan ditampilkan di satu stage, namanya Potlot Jam," ujar Ivanka saat ditemui usai konferensi pers Synchronize Festival 2024 di Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan pada Selasa, 27 Agustus.

The 52-year-old bassist said what Potlot Jam will show in October bringing the'spirit' from the late Imanez.

"Yes, only Synchronize can finally collect us to play on stage. And that's actually the spirit because of Imanez, because there is Otto Jam-nya Imanez. Slank will also bring the song Imanez, which we enter into the album," he said.

Ivanka also praised Synchronize organizers who were willing to present Potlot Jam. Although the idea of uniting the musicians of Potlot existed before, only Synchronize was serious about realizing it.

"(EO who wants to present Potlot children) may be a lot, but only Synchronize the courage to collect us to play on one stage," said Ivanka.

Potlot Jam is not the only special appearance at Synchronize Fest 2024.
