Elvy Sukaesih Wants To Continue Singing Until Fans Ask Him To Stop

JAKARTA - Senior singer Elvy Sukaesih knows very well what it means to be an entertainer. At the age of 73 years, he is still actively performing on stage. In the near future, he even appeared for Synchronize Fest, a music festival that incidentally attended by young music lovers.

Elvy also ensured that his passion for music and appearing on stage was still high. He did not want to leave the world that made his name.

"So yes, I will remain a singer until my fans ask me not to appear again," Elvy Sukaesih told the media crew in Cilandak, South Jakarta on Tuesday, August 27.

"If it's digitized, we have to know ourselves," he continued.

Even though he was already head seven, Elvy admitted that no one asked him to stop singing. On the contrary.

"Sometimes if I don't sing, they're not entertained. Instead they tell me to keep singing," he said.

Elvy's current stage is also very varied, starting from the big stage at the television station's birthday event, to the stage at weddings and circumcisions.

All stages are carried out by Queen Dangdut. For him, every show is an opportunity to make others happy through music.

Regarding his efforts to survive appearing on stage, Elvy conveyed one important thing, namely asking the Creator for health and strength.

"All of us ask Allah, hopefully nothing will happen, hopefully with prayers I can still appear. God willing, O Rab," he said.
