Denny Caknan Appears To Entertain Thousands Of Indonesians In Taiwan

JAKARTA - Denny Caknan appeared in front of tens of thousands of Indonesians at a festival held in the New Taipei Square, Taiwan on Sunday, August 25.

The excitement when the singer from Ngawi appeared managed to attract the attention of local media, who reported that the festival was aimed at celebrating Indonesian culture and respecting the contribution of migrant workers in Taiwan.

There are about 100,000 migrant workers in New Taipei, with Indonesians being the largest group, about 40,000 people. About 4,000 pairs of Indonesian citizens from Taiwanese nationals also live in the city, Chen Jui-chia said, citing Focus Taiwan, Tuesday, August 27.

Chen said the event was held in collaboration with the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office in Taipei. It is hoped that the event can cure the longing of Indonesian workers in Taiwan and ensure that they are accepted there.

Denny Caknan did not appear alone at the festival. Previously, the Roses Dam Jamsatoe Band also performed entertainment through their rock songs.

The moment when Denny Caknan appeared in Taiwan was also enshrined by many netizens on social media.

The video uploaded by the Instagram account @bagushindrawan, shows how Denny and tens of thousands of Indonesians sing the national anthem Indonesia Raya.

On that occasion, Denny Caknan also invited his wife and only child to the stage.
