Attorney Ari Bias Ensures Report Against Agnez Mo Is Still In Process At Bareskrim

JAKARTA - Minola Sebayang as the attorney for songwriter Ari Bias confirmed that reports against Agnez Mo for alleged copyright infringement to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police are still in progress.

Since the report was made on June 19, Ari Bias has given his statement to investigators. Then the process will continue with the summoning of witnesses from Karya Cipta Indonesia (KCI) and the National Collective Management Institute (LMKN).

Regarding Ari's biased report against Agnez Mo at the Criminal Investigation Unit, the process is still ongoing, in the stage of summoning witnesses. So now we are waiting for the presence of witnesses from KCI and LMKN," said Minola Sebayang to the media crew in Kuningan, South Jakarta on Wednesday, August 21.

"So it is only for one certainty that it is true, there is no license or permit issued by these two institutions to Agnez Mo for his concerts in the three cities," he continued.

After the examination of KCI and LMKN, said Minola, a case will be held by the police. Furthermore, it is possible to summon the HW Event (HW Group) as the organizer of the concert and Agnez Mo as the reported party.

Regarding Agnez Mo's frequent presence in the United States, Minola sees it not as an obstacle.

"I don't think there are any obstacles. Because even though Agnez is abroad, it will not be possible for her to continue abroad. Because she is still an Indonesian citizen, she will definitely return to Indonesia," said Minola Sebayang.

"This means that the longer he delays solving this problem, the longer he will be haunted by legal issues," he said.
