Imagine Dragons Drummer Says Withdraw From Band, Here's Why

JAKARTA - Musician Daniel Platzman announced his decision to withdraw from Imagine Dragons. The drummer bid farewell to the fans.

A photo was uploaded by Daniel via his personal Instagram account, August 21. There he expressed his admiration and gratitude for the support he had been feeling so far.

"After an extraordinary journey for more than a decade, I will leave the amazing band, Imagine Dragons. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you, fans, for your unshakable support and have shared the joy of music with me," he wrote in the caption column.

Furthermore, Damiel, who joined the band in 2011, explained the reason he left. Apparently he wanted to pursue his dream outside the group, namely composing and scoring for films.

"Regarding you guys, it's really been in the spotlight in my career. I'm excited to share more about the projects I've worked on hard over the past few months centered on my biggest interest: music creation and film writing," he explained.

He also promised to immediately share updates on the projects he was working on. Meanwhile, photos with the Imagine Dragons personnel are a touching farewell.
