Atta Halilintar Welcoming The 79th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia Through The Song Titled Torang Indonesia

JAKARTA - In order to welcome the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Atta Halilintar launched a new musical work with the title "Torang Indonesia".

This song talks about the unity of Indonesia. Atta was inspired to bring the message after his visit to Morotai, North Maluku some time ago

On the beautiful island, Atta saw how different the people there could coexist with a sense of tolerance.

"I was there with respect, houses of worship (such as) churches and mosques side by side, living on the same land. They respect each other," said Atta Halilintar in Kemang, South Jakarta, Monday, August 12.

"If exemplified to all Indonesians, want different skin and different beliefs, we are still Indonesia," he continued.

In the song 'Torang Indonesia', Atta invites his wife, Aurel Hermansyah, to become a collaborator.

Aurel admitted that he had difficulty when asked to sing a song with lyrics using Maluku. However, after studying it, Anang Hermansyah's son was able to record well.

Ataa's latest work received support from the former Regent of Morotai, Benny Laos. He sees 'Torang Indonesia' as part of supporting Morotai tourism.

"How do we develop it, there must be stories and triggers that can generate this, so that the collaboration of Torang Indonesia with the aim of generating the tourism industry and creative industry in Morotai and North Maluku. This project is believed to be able to introduce the creative industry and North Maluku tourism," said Benny.
