Music Works Become Rindu Fitri Carlina's Expression That She Is Often Far From Her Husband

JAKARTA - Singer Fitri Carlina lives a life that not everyone can do. She underwent a Long Distance Marriage with her beloved husband Hendra Sumdeka who works as a pilot on Oman.

Because they can't meet every day, every meeting feels meaningful for the two. Unresistant feelings of longing, Fitri finally poured into a song called Aku Kangen Kamu.

"Because I often miss my husband, instead of being sad, it's better if I make a song. So I have a lot of stories with Pak Rahayu and finally created the song Aku Kangen You," said the Banyuwangi-born singer to VOI recently.

The feeling of longing is depicted in a straightforward lyric and composition named Dancedhut which is easy to hear. According to Fitri, the selection of this genre feels more suitable than a ballad that will bring a sense of emotion.

In the single, Fitri Carlina has also presented a music video that she starred in with her husband. This makes the song feel more special, because it is one of the memories that is passed together.

"I had to seduce my husband to become a clip model because at first he didn't want to. He was wearing a (pilot) uniform when filming. Thank God he always supports my career," said Fitri.

Fitri Carlina became one of the successful singers with the Dancedhut genre through ABG Tua's 2012 hit which was so viral in his time. Until now he is still actively performing and releasing a single to pursue his passion as a singer.
