John Lennon's Iconist Glasses To Be Auctioned In London Starting At 62 Million Rupiah

JAKARTA - Now there are only memories, there are still many things around The Beatles being targeted today. Some of Fab Four's relics have been auctioned off and in the near future a similar event will be held.

At the auction later, there will be two types of objects that will have new owners. The items are iconic glasses of John Lennon and several photos of The Beatles at Abbey Road Studio.

Round glasses have become the typical fashion item of Lennon. Even though he had worn several models, the glasses with round lenses were the most attached to the memory.

The owner of the glasses with a blue lens from John Lennon was a man who visited Abbey Road studio while the musician was recording. When he saw the glasses on the piano, he wanted to reach it, but then stopped by his girlfriend.

Seeing this, John Lennon's reaction shocked the two of them. Instead, he gave the glasses to the man.

Launching NME, the auction event will be held on Wednesday, July 31 at the Farleigh Golf Club in London. These iconic glasses will be auctioned starting from 3000 GBP or around 62 million rupiah.

Meanwhile, the offer for 33 black and white photos of The Beatles at Abbey Road will open from 4 million rupiahs complete with photo copyright.
