Dere Invites Pentas Rubik Spectators To Protect The Environment Through Home Songs

JAKARTA - Dere voiced his concerns through his work. One of the themes he raised was about environmental issues in the song Rumah.

He performed the song at a single concert titled 'Pentas Rubik' which was held at Pos Bloc, Jakarta, Sunday.

The singer whose real name is Theresia Margaretha Gultom revealed the importance of protecting the environment when she was about to bring home, a song released in 2022 after the One Million Tree Movement Day, tells about human unrest and her concern for the condition of the earth.

"Hopefully our earth will live a long life and if our earth has a long life, we will also live a long life, we can go wherever we want, go up the mountain, come here and see the beauty," said Dere as quoted by ANTARA.

Met backstage after the concert, Dere admitted that he was learning to live a more sustainable life.

According to him, protecting the environment can be done starting from small things that are applied to every human daily life.

"Personally, I still have a lot of shortcomings about my behavior, but I'm starting to reduce the use of plastic, choose clothes materials, start reusing what can be reused, start to be picky if you want to buy something, what can take a long time," he told ANTARA.

Looking back, the woman who was born on June 1, 2002, admitted that she had contributed many bad traces to the environment, without her realizing it.

For this reason, he began to change simple habits and pay more attention to the environment and other living things.

"I feel like I've only lived once, but I've left a lot of tracks that I also don't know where he's going, and it's detrimental to a lot of beings on earth, so now I'm still trying to keep it," said Dere.
