Experiencing Infections, Jonny Greenwood Must Undergo Intensive Care

JAKARTA - Jonny Greenwood, the main guitarist and keyboardist for Radiohead, is known to suffer from serious illness due to infection. This requires him to undergo intensive treatment at the hospital.

The Smile, another Jonny Greenwood band project with Thom Yorke and Tommen, announced the guitarist's current condition.

"A few days ago, Jonny was seriously ill with infections requiring emergency treatment at the hospital, some of whom were in intensive care," The Smile wrote in a statement.

"Thank God, he is now out of danger and will return home as soon as possible."

In his statement, The Smile also informed that their tour in August should be canceled. The reason is, the 52-year-old guitarist must focus on recovering first.

"We have been instructed by the medical team in charge of treating Jonny, to cancel all of his engagement until he fully recovers. For that, the Smile tour in Europe in August was canceled," The Smile wrote.

For information, The Smile has released their second studio album titled 'Wall Of Eyes' in January.
