Gaia Music Festival 2024 Will Present Intimate And Family Friendly Festivals

JAKARTA - Doing exciting activities and resting can apparently be done all at once. This is what The Gaia Hotel Bandung is trying to offer which carries active/rest as the main pillar, which includes music and movie. That's why the idea for holding the Gaia Music Festival (GMF) was sparked.

This year GMF: Jazz in The Valley is entering its third event. Increasingly growing in presenting entertainment for guests, this year's event is certainly no less lively with the presence of senior musicians and newcomers who raise the elements of jazz music.

jazz music itself is chosen as the main genre because Gaia wants to prioritize the side of creativity, exploration, and spontaneity as an identity.

This surfaced in a press conference held by The Gaia Hotel Bandung at KAUM Jakarta (4/7). Present at this event Novi Samodro General Manager of Gaia Hotel Bandung, Rezka M Wildhan Chairman of Gaia Music Festival 2024, Bagasposatmono Director of PT Jazz Gunung Indonesia, and reporters such as Dewa Budjana, Dua Empat, Natasya Elvira, Kevin Yosua, and Elfa's Singer.

Gaia Music Festival is one of the mainstay programs of The Gaia Hotel to realize the experience of guests both old and young can find entertainment, refreshment, and inspiration in the convenience of the Gaia Hotel Bandung facility through music.

Carrying the theme 'Total Enjoyment', this festival has two main characteristics, namely intimate and family friendly. This is what distinguishes it from similar music festivals.

"Things that are different from other concerts, our concerts are in hotels and outdoors in the valley. We call it Jazz in The Valley. We also prioritize the concept of family friendly. Not only parents, but children can also participate. While watching music, you can enjoy hotel facilities too," said Novi Samodro.

The intimate festival is realized by narrowing the distance between the performers and the audience. Even those present will also be part of performance in general.

This year we involved a bigger audience role. We consider the audience present to be part of the performance of the GAIA Music Festival: Jazz in The Valley. They brought the atmosphere of this event to life. So we gave the title Total Enjoyment. " said Rezka M Wildhan.

A number of performers at the GAIA Music Festival: Jazz in The Valley 2024 who are preparing, including Mocca, Aditya Ong Quartet, Dua Empat, Elfas Singer, Ivanmen, Dewa Budjana, and Kahitna. The organizers also prepared a special project specifically made for this event featuring young jazz musicians who were shining, Natasya Elvira & Kevin Yosua Big 6.

The material for the song was brought by Kevin Yosua. This is my first performance at GMF. I once stayed at The Gaia Hotel Bandung. Best hotel ever! Line up last year was cool and now it's getting more varied, I'm proud to be able to play with musicians from various generations here. The atmosphere at The Gaia Hotel Bandung is really delicious, the food is really delicious too," said Natasya Elvira, who can't wait to appear there.

Along with its development, the Mount Indonesia Jazz, which is the partner of this event, hopes to add to the excitement of events that are still related to music.

This year we have started the educational side by making a drum clinic with Nguber Drummer and showcase young musicians. Hopefully next year the series of events will be even more complete. This is a celebration of musicians, jazz connoisseurs, and spectators who are present there. We want to make everyone present happy and comfortable and want to come to GMF next year. From year to year we always juxtaposed the legends and emerging artists. We want a good performance at this GMF," Bagas Cosmono hoped.

To enjoy this event, you can choose in 3 ticket price categories, namely regular class, VIP 1, and VIP 2. Regular category for IDR 500.000 and VIP 1 IDR 950,000 and VIP 2 for IDR 850,000 for tickets per day.

Organizers also sell 2-day forward tickets each at a price of IDR 900.000 for regular, IDR 1.700.000 for VIP 1, and IDR 1.500.000 for VIP 2.
