JAKARTA - KLa Project launched vinyl from their live album entitled 'KLacoustic'. The release of physical albums from Katon Bagaskara (vocals, guitars), airsheds (vocals, guitars), and Adi Adrian (piano) is the initial series of their 36-year journey in the Indonesian music industry.
The release of the vinyl format is not just following the current trend, but the KLa Project views physical albums as an important legacy for music lovers. Therefore, the 'KLacustic' which is considered as the monumental album is the choice of Katon cs.
"This is our way of leaving legacy, because the children now don't know that the work can be bought, can be held, it can be very personal. It's not just a song that plays once today but tomorrow it will be forgotten," said Katon Bagaskara during a press conference in Setiabudi, South Jakarta on Wednesday, July 3.
"Why is the vinyl Klacustic because this is our monumental work," said Adi Adrian.

The 'KLacoustic' itself was produced by Pro Sound live in 1996. The album contains 16 acoustically played songs, most of which came from the five early albums of the KLa Project.
Meanwhile, some of the iconic songs on this album include About Us, Romansa, Time Left, 'You Can't Go To Other Hearts', to 'Yogyakarta'.
Meanwhile, Adi Nugroho as Producer of Pro Sound said that this vinyl release could be a differentiator in the midst of the digital era.
"This lacustic is a historic momentum for the KLa Project, and we want to release it physically so it can be heard again," said Adi Nugroho.
"For us, the most important thing is to be able to perpetuate this. We hope that in this digital era we will be more enthusiastic and have other treats," he continued.
Vinyl Klacoust is priced at Rp888,000 and can be obtained at PHR Senayan and Atlas.
