Vagetoz Returns With New Album After More Than A Decade

JAKARTA - The music group from West Java, Vagetoz finally returned with their 12 latest works contained in the album titled 'My Story'. This album is the first work since the album "I Just Want You To Know" which was released in 2009.

This album is expected to cure the longing of Vagetoz fans who want to listen to their idol's work on an album.

"Actually, the desire to release a new album has been around for a long time. But since cassettes and CDs have become increasingly rare in shops, we have released more singles. However, this time we were given the opportunity by the label to release digital albums. Even though it is not physical, this is enough to make us happy because this album is our identity as a band, "said Teguh Permana in a written broadcast.

In the album 'My Story Your Story', Vagetoz presents 12 tracks that are their trademark. The entire song contained in this album has the theme of love, even though Vagetoz packs it from different sides.

Sad to happy stories are arranged on all tracks on this album. The story that was picked was based on stories that usually occur in society.

If you look at it as a whole, the songs contained in this album are quite colorful. Even tend to bring a new feel in Vagetoz's musical style.

"Of the many singles we made, to be honest this will be my favorite album. Because of the 12 songs, I am very colorful. Whether it's the arrangement, the music, maybe people will feel this is a new color but still doesn't leave Vagetoz's taste," said Teguh.

One of Teguh's favorite songs is "Silent", which tells about his relationship with his mother. Although he didn't mention it directly, this song depicts his feelings of being lonely now.

This song is indeed quite emotional for Teguh. Even Teguh felt unable to sing it.

That's indeed a story about a room that I feel warm, peaceful but now it's changed. Now I feel lonely, I don't hear a voice that usually calls me. That's a song that is very sad, "he explained. Several times taking vocals I cried, couldn't. Finally, the next day I tried again even though I felt that in terms of getting it maybe I got it when I cried. But I couldn't help but cry a lot. I tried to hold back my tears so much, it was more resistant to his emotions, "explained Teguh.

The album 'My Story Your Story' also presents the song 'My Search', which Teguh said, is not just a song about hurt. "The lyrics describe a partner who is one who is down, but the other remains loyal to support and accompany," he said.

With the release of this new album, Vagetoz hopes to cure the longing for their loyal fans. Even so, they still want to maintain the essence and uniqueness of their music which has been widely known.
