Thomas Ramdhan Remembers Friendship With Pay Burman And Ronald Fristianto

JAKARTA - Bassis Gigi, Thomas Ramdhan recalls his friendship with Pay Burman and Ronald Fristianto, which has been running for more than three decades through uploading photos on his Instagram account.

In the photo, Thomas, Pay, and Ronald appear to be relaxing. The Gigi bassist also explained how the friendship took place.

"I can hang out again like this a very long journey for the three of us, I know them early 90's from before Gigi was formed," said Thomas Ramdhan in the caption.

"There are so many stories and experiences in recording or in real life. Thank God I was able to get to know and know these two friends," he continued.

On many occasions, Thomas shared that he knew Pay, who was already a Slank personnel at Slank's headquarters on Potlot Street, South Jakarta.

Through the friendship that was formed in Potlot, Thomas met Ronald and Dewa Budjana, which later became the beginning of Gigi's formation.

Through the comments column, Dewa Budjana confirmed that Pay Burman was the person who brought him together with Thomas and Ronald.

"Because of Pay Burman, I got to know Thomas and Ronald," wrote Dewa Budjana.

For information, Thomas Ramdhan is still the bassist for Gigi who celebrates her 30th anniversary this year. Meanwhile, Pay and Ronald, who are still active in music, are more busy with backstage work.
