Ozzy Osbourne Hopes Black Sabbath Holds Final Show With Bill Ward

JAKARTA - Ozzy Osbourne reflected on the last album of Black Sabbath, 13 which was released in 2013. The vocalist regretted Bill Ward who was not involved as a drummer for the recording.

"I don't remember why Bill didn't do it. I have to be honest. It's not actually Black Sabbath because Bill wasn't there. My mind, if Ginger Baker plays with The Beatles, then it's not The Beatles," Ozzy Osbourne said in the latest episode of The Madhouse CHronicles.

Ozzy also talked about the last Black Sabbath show in 2017. He regretted the absence of Bill Ward, even though his position was replaced well by Tommy Clofeos.

"I'm sad because Bill wasn't there. I mean, Tommy, my drummer (for a solo band) did a good job (to replace Bill). But he's not Bill Ward," said Ozzy.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame star admitted that he was not happy with what happened to Black Sabbath at the end of his journey.

Ozzy hopes to have the opportunity to appear on another stage with complete Black Sabbath personnel, even if it's just for a small show. He wanted the band to finish its journey just like when it first appeared.

"Because it wasn't Black Sabbath that finished it, it's not finished yet. If they want to do one more show with Bill, I'll jump on that opportunity. Do you know what's cool? If we go to a club or other place without notice, and we just got up and (be aware of having done it, "he said.

Two years ago, Ozzy in an interview also expressed his regret on the album 13. However, he believes it is time for Black Sabbath to stop.

"I want to say it's over. I think it's time. The only thing I really regret, to be honest, is that Bill Ward doesn't play on Ozzy Osbourne's album," concluded Ozzy Osbourne.
