Abeliano Continues New Adventures Through Hoping You'll Be Mine

JAKARTA - Abeliano continued his musical journey with Sony Music Entertainment by releasing a new single entitled Hoping You'll Be Mine.

This song is the second work with its new label, after Love Me Like You Say You Do which was introduced late last year.

By presenting a touch of country-pop and surf-rock, Abeliano showed his music that was more cheerful and relaxed as a singer and songwriter.

Abeliano said that Hoping You'll Be Mine is the simplest song he has written so far. This song was worked on naturally without playing any things.

"As a musician and songwriter, I want to always open myself up to various song ideas and formats," Abeliano said in his statement, Sunday, April 21.

"For this Hoping You'll Be Mine song, I want to create something more straightforward and easy to digest by the listeners. Because I think the message of this song is very clear," he continued.

The mention of the perspective he used when writing Hoping You'll Be Mine was inspired by the same person who inspired him to make music, namely his father.

"What I can tell you right now is that I was moved to work on a song with a musical composition like this when I remembered one of the original music works of my father. I don't know why I immediately felt a very close relationship from his work," he said.

Hoping You'll Be Mine is also a celebration of Abeliano joining Spotify RADAR Indonesia 2024, a campaign to introduce new talents from various Indonesian music scene.

"I am very proud and grateful to be a part of this year's edition of Spotify RADAR Indonesia. I think this program can open up new avenues for newcomer musicians so that their works can be introduced to even wider listeners. I have great hopes for the following days," concluded Abeliano.
