JAKARTA - Indonesia has many musicians spread across various regions with their own uniqueness. Some of them carry contemporary music with local elements such as including traditional musical instruments or the use of regional languages in the lyrics.

Aldila Karina as Director of Communications demajors said the local musicians needed support to develop their musical works and careers.

Like the demajors who formed a sub-label called Ibu Records (BIR) which focuses on overseeing local musicians, Aldila mentions the importance of lifting their potential to the surface, to be better known nationally.

"Then with the presence of BIR, hopefully in the future musicians with traditional backgrounds and others can be more exposed, just like the demajors did in the past, and we can feel the joy now," he continued.
