Els Hagia Shares Message From God Through Song I'll Be Here

JAKARTA - Young singer and songwriter Els Hagia released a new single entitled I'll Be Here. This song is felt as a message from God for those who are in trouble.

Written three years ago, Els reflected on the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic as the background for his new song. He saw the conditions at that time had taught him many lessons, especially about human relations.

This post-pandemic angle, about three years ago. At that time I felt that the Covid-19 outbreak really affected our interpersonal relationship as social beings. Many of us, including myself, feel lonely and mentally affected during those times, "said Els Hagia in her statement, Monday, February 19.

"Through this song, I want to accompany and calm them," he continued.

Els, who currently lives in the United States, began writing I'll Be There with the piano. When he first wrote this song, he felt as a tool for the Almighty to give a good message.

"As soon as I sat in front of the piano, I felt that God was the one who wrote this song, while I was just His tool. The heart of this song is like a promise from His to me that everything will be fine," said Els.

"There was a sentence that immediately appeared on my chest at that time, and it was like a message from Him that I had to share with others. The comfort and belief I felt at that time was really my own experience in writing songs," he continued.

Despite living in the United States, the recording process of I'll Be Here was carried out in Indonesia. Els Hagia was assisted by David Halim as producer.

"Through this single, I want to share hopes for those who are experiencing gloomy times. At least, tell that they are not alone," concluded Els Hagia.
