JAKARTA - You Me At Six announced their separation after 20 years as a band. They share details of the farewell tour for next year.

The British rock group, which is fronted by Josh Franceschi, has released eight albums since its formation in the mid-19000s. Their latest studio album, 'Truth Decay' last year, reached 4th on the UK charts.

You Me At Six also received two UK Number One albums through Cavalier Youth (2014) and Suckapunch (2021).

In a statement shared on January 31 evening local time, vocalist Franceschi confirmed that the group decided to quit.

"When we started YMAS, we were still children. We just wanted to live a long life, travel, and experience life as a group of friends," he explained, quoted from NME, Thursday.

“Kami merasa menjelang ulang tahun kami yang ke-20 sebagai sebuah band, sekarang adalah waktu yang tepat untuk mengakhiri hidup."

We are in a lucky position where our fans still want to see us live and celebrate the life of this band. So that's what we will do for 2024 and 2025. We can't wait to see our fans travel."

Berdasarkan siaran pers, You Me At Six dijadwalkan untuk memulai tour dunia pada tahun 2025 untuk mengucapkan baik kepada penggemar.
