Achieve 9 Nominations, SZA Will Appear At The 2024 Grammy Awards

JAKARTA - SZA is confirmed to be one of the performers in the 2024 Grammy Awards. He will appear on the Crypto.com Arena stage, Los Angeles on February 4 local time.

SZA's announcement as a performer was followed by the 34-year-old R&B star's nomination in nine categories, the most of which were other singers and musicians this year.

The All the Stars singer joined a row of other artists, such as Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Burna Boy, Olivia Rodrigo, U2, Travis Scott, and Joni Mitchell.

Meanwhile, SZA's second album, entitled SOS, is included in the progressive R&B album category and the best album of the year.

Next, the song Kill Bill was nominated for the best song of the year, the best R&B performance and best recording of the year. Meanwhile, Snooze, Love Language, and Low, each nominated for the best R&B song, best traditional R&B performance and best rap melodic performance.

With nine nominations this year, SZA has been recorded to have been nominated 24 times throughout her career. However, only one victory was won, namely the performance of the best duo/pop group at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, during an interview last month on Apple Music Radio, SZA admitted that he had fulfilled most of his careers and creative goals.

"I don't have a goal anymore, and it sounds bad, but I keep saying that. Nobody believes in me, but it looks like you don't understand. This is my goal," SZA said, launching People, Wednesday, January 31.

"I've got platinum. I don't think I'm going to get platinum. I sell a lot of recordings. I met great Wonder, I met Beyonce and worked with him, I met Frank Ocean. My mother came and my father came to these cool countries to see me perform. My show sold out, I became the headline of a festival, "he continued.

Melanjutkan apa yang sudah dicapainya sejauh ini, SZA juga merasa sudah cukup dengan memenangi Grammy dan menjadi nominasi.

"What else do you want? I was nominated for the Grammys. I have won the Grammys. For me personally, I'm done," said SZA.
