Justin Timberlake Debuts New Gospel-rock Song, Sanctified On Saturday Night Live

JAKARTA - Justin Timberlake debuted his new song titled 'Sanctified' at Saturday Night Live (SNL).

Timberlake is the latest music guest in the late-night comedy sketch series, where he played 'Sacctified' in full.

The combination of the GOspel, rock, and R&B in the song prompted Timberlake to use some of the right religious metaphors to describe his love.

I get down on my knees and access to your temple / And you take me and you serve me mercy [I knelt down and confessed in your temple / And you took me and you served me with mercy].

The former member of the *NSYNC also brought rapper Tobel Nwigwe to present his lyrics while surrounded by a group of dancers.

SNL's show reached its peak as everyone joined Timberlake on stage to reach a heavy pillion-rock climax.

The musician also performed with guest host Dakota Johnson, who gently mocked Timberlake's 'comeback' in its opening monologue. Previously, Timberlake and Johnson starred in the 2010 film The Social Network.

Timberlake also performed her romantic new song 'Selfish', the main single for her upcoming album 'Everything I Thought It Was'. This is Timberlake's first solo release in more than five years, and she debuted the song on a free show in her hometown recently in Memphis.
